CELPIP score chart and CLB converter

IRCC turns each CELPIP-General ability into a CLB level, and the level is what gets scored. The chart shows the result you need for each level; type yours to see your levels, whether they meet each program's minimum and the CRS points they're worth.

CELPIP-General to CLB chart

For CLB 4 to 10, each CELPIP-General level is the same number as the CLB level: a 9 in an ability is CLB 9. Levels 11 and 12 count as CLB 10. CELPIP-General LS, the speaking and listening version, is not accepted for Express Entry.
