Method
- Every rule comes from an IRCC page, linked next to the tool that uses it, with the date that page was last modified and the date we last checked it.
- The CRS calculator is tested against IRCC's own calculator. On 14 October 2026 we ran 1,000 random profiles through both: 917 matched point for point. The other 83 all had a TCF Canada result at NCLC 4, which IRCC's calculator scores as 0 while the published criteria give 6 points per ability; with that one difference applied, all 1,000 matched. We follow the published criteria and the calculator tells you when the two differ.
- Draw data is read every day from the data IRCC publishes for its rounds of invitations page. We keep a dated copy of each download.
- When a rule changes, we update the tool, note it in the changelog and show the new revision date on the page.
Corrections
If you find a difference with IRCC's calculator or an outdated rule, write to [email protected] with the page and, if you have it, the IRCC source. We check it against the official source and update the page and its revision date.
